This Privacy Policy explains what data Muzzl collects, why we collect it, how it is used, and what rights you have over it. We keep this plain and honest — no legal maze.

1. Who We Are

Muzzl is an AI-powered IPSC stage analysis tool operated by Muzzl Solutions LTD (in registration), Bulgaria. For privacy matters, contact us at privacy@muzzl.ai.

2. What We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

Email address — when you join the waitlist or create an account
Shooter profile — name, gender, height, weight, division, firearm, and any notes you enter. All optional beyond email.
Stage files — photos and/or video recordings of IPSC stages you upload for analysis
Voice narration — audio recordings you make during stage walkthroughs, transcribed for analysis
Usage data — stage analysis history saved to your account

3. How We Use Your Data

To generate your personalised IPSC stage action plan
To save your stage history and profile for future sessions
To contact you about your early access request or account
To improve the product

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

Important: Stage photos, videos, and voice narration you upload are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this data. We recommend not uploading images that contain identifiable individuals other than yourself.

Muzzl uses the following third-party services:

Anthropic — AI vision and action plan generation. Your stage files are transmitted to Anthropic's API. Anthropic Privacy Policy →

Railway — backend infrastructure hosting
Vercel — frontend hosting

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

Contract performance — to provide the service you signed up for
Legitimate interests — to improve the product and maintain security
Consent — for waitlist emails and optional profile fields

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and stage history are deleted within 30 days. Waitlist emails are deleted upon your request.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Request a copy of your data in a portable format
Withdraw consent at any time
Lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP) at cpdp.bg

8. Cookies

Muzzl uses only functional cookies necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children

Muzzl is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice in the app. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
